Vampires: Myth or Legend and Can They Co-Exist with Us

We all know that vampires are 'blood suckers' from movies and books, but what is the truth and what is the myth? Well the truth is that vampires are real and drink blood and even hate the sun. Vampires are living creatures like us, the undead, but like us. They may have to feed off of blood for their energy but we are not so different. We eat steaks and pork and when we cook those foods we get the juices from them and can use them in a sauce. What's to say a vampire can't have their 'breakfast' like we do?
Vampires can have a lover, a family, a job, or even a pet! One girl said to image having a boyfriend of 200 years and who has a lot a skill in pleasing women but has the body of a 27 year old. And her boyfriend was with her when she said this too! I for one would like that. But that's just me. Vampires go to school and have a job, so why do we fear them? I'm pro-vamp and am proud of it. If you're anti-vampire then fine. But try to understand this: What would you do if you were a vampire? To me this feels like WW 2 all over again. What's to say that a vampire won't drink human blood? But the thing is: The Japanese have come up with a synthetic blood for people in really serious accidents and never thought that vampires would end up using it for their nourishment. I find that very cool. The Japanese are ahead of us in technology and such things like the synthetic blood are a blessing to the world.
Some bar tenders in New Orleans hope that there will be a law against serving vampire in their bar. The law states that you must serve anyone, no matter what race, gender, skin tone, sexuality, or religion. But what would vampires be considered? In my views, vampires are humans like us. Un-dead humans yes, but humans anyway. Some people who are dating a vampire are called a 'Fang-Banger.' That is mean! How would you like to be called a 'Mortal Fucker' by a vampire? I for one would the to be called either. Plus if you're dating a vamp. or having a relationship with one then you wouldn't need birth control! If we look past the fact that vampires drink blood and may be 'evil,' then maybe we could stop hating them and let them co-exist with us.
