True Meaning of Individuality
Looks are only one thing that make us different
Individuality. Everyone nowadays says they want to be original - especially teenagers. They crave to be one of a kind, the needle in a hay stack, one in infinity. Many people don't even know the true meaning, though. They think to be original, an individual you must stick out from the crowd and not be like anyone else. They try so hard to be different they could be wearing things they don't even like. Saying things they don't believe. Being someone they aren't. Hypocrites in other words. They'll ditch their old beliefs if more people start thinking the same.
That, my friends, is not an individual. That is someone who's following the the mind set that believes you're only different if no one does or looks the same. I'm sorry to say that there will be at least one person in this world who will like (and hates) the same band as you. I'm sorry to say someone else in this world will have the same shirt you do or same hair style.
People fail to realize that we're all different even if we all looked a like. Look below at the likes, dislikes, hobbies, knowledge, whatever.

Tell me if any of you have all the same ones. I really doubt you do. Wanna know why? Because that's what makes me me (of course there's more to me than that, but I could go forever). No one has the all same likes/dislikes/hobbies/whatever as you. They can't. There's always something that differs even if it's something small.
There will always be someone who is like you in one way or another. Just because that's so doesn't mean we have to try super hard to be different. Looks are only one thing that can make us different. Like that episode og the Fairly Odd Parents when Timmy wished for everyone to look the same, you come to realize what makes us different is much more than that.
So many people aren't themselves because they're trying to be different. Don't try to be different. Be the natrual different - yourself. That's what makes an individual. Unique. Original. One of a kind.
