Plastic And Cosmetic Surgery: Not Just For celebrities

You have probably seen all those makeover shows that make cosmetic surgery seem easy. Well, if you haven't these shows they tend to show just how simple this surgery is but they never show how bad things can get if something goes wrong. These shows create the impression that people just go into a hospital then just come out looking like models on a runway.
There are two types of plastic surgery, the first is called cosmetic surgery, this type includes breast implants, lip enlargements and nose or chin jobs. The other kind is called reconstructive surgery. This kind is only for medical purpose unlike cosmetic surgery. Reconstructive surgery is often used in scenarios where a part of the body is severely inured.
With today's technology most surgeries performed in a properly licensed hospital turn out fine. In some cases you will find that the person getting the surgery (normally cosmetic) did not go to a fully licensed place and even then there can alway be accidence.
There are many arguments about cosmetic surgery should be legal but since technology is evolving many believe that cosmetic surgery is safe enough to be legal. It is my personal opinion that although some people may need reconstructive surgery a very small amount of people NEED cosmetic surgery.
