Harry Potter: Books or Movies?

Harry Potter: Books or Movies? Harry Potter cast

I never really got into the books; I think it’s more so because I watched the movies first, than tried reading the books - even though, skimming through the books, they are much better. My favourite movie, would have to be Goblet of Fire, while my favourite book, would be Prisoner of Azkaban.

Am I the only one that notices Daniel Radcliffe is getting too old to be playing a sixteen year old boy? But Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) has grown into himself more as the years progressed - he’s a fox now.

Deathly Hollows: The movie should beat out all the others. Being as it is the last one of both the book and movie. It should go out with a bang - blow all the others out of the water. I’m anticipating it will. I’ll be mighty upset otherwise.

J.K Rowling is a genius; to come up with something as revolutionary as HP, you have to be using the right side of your brain (the creativity side) always. It’s just a masterpiece. And the movies, the directors and producers made it all so realistic; and it looked just like I had pictured it from the books.

So when it comes down to it, I’m stuck in the middle between choosing the movies over the books. They are all so creative and well written. But I guess it comes down to whether you like reading, or watching movies. Me, personally, I like reading; but it is nice to watch a movie; gives your mind a break from having to create a mental picture.
